A macro is a placeholder for a specific event (for example: ${CLICK_URL} to be replaced with a real value once the creative is served. Defining macros is optional, and is limited to 6 macros per BlockConnect Pixel. Each macro can accept up to 255 characters.
For example in this link:

there are 6 macros available:
&op5=VALUE-1
&op6=VALUE-2
&op7=VALUE-3
&op8=VALUE-4
&op9=VALUE-5
&op10=VALUE-6
All the placeholders VALUE-1 to VALUE-6 can be replaced with anything up to 255 characters
Our commonly used placeholders consist of: Order ID, SKU, Order total, Source code, Promo code, Service fee, and Revenue, but there is a broad range of placeholders that can be used for tracking purposes.
