Powered by Blockboard’s AI engine, BlockVantage is built for speed and simplicity. Just enter a brand name and URL and BlockVantage handles the heavy lifting—from creative strategy to targeting to reporting.
BlockVantage is a new tool that exists inside of Blockboard’s main platform.
Accessing BlockVantage
1) After logging in to Blockboard, if you are not taken directly to BlockVantage’s welcome screen, you’ll need to select BlockVantage from the left-side menu›.
If you do not see the BlockAI icon (above), please contact help@myblockboard.com for access.
Welcome Screen
2) At the BlockVantage welcome screen, enter the name of your brand by creating a new one or selecting from a previously save brand
Then enter the url of your brand → example.com
Please be patient as the system gathers insights and prepares recommendations.
This could take up 90 seconds to complete.
Note: If you have previously created a campaign, you can jump directly to the Campaign screen by clicking Block Vantage Home button at the bottom of the screen.
Strategy and Planning
3) At the Strategy and Planning screen you'll find BlockVantage's recommended targeting selections, created with the latest data from the inputed brand’s website. To view or customize a recommendation, click the dropdown arrow in the top-right of any section.

Note: a user can only target Preset Regions OR Dynamic Radius, not both at the same time.

Day-Parting →
Recommended weekly and hourly schedule for delivering optimal performance.

High potential publishers and sites identified from performance trends and targeting criteria.

Targeted age and gender groups that are most likely to engage with your product.
Creative Assets →
Here is where the user would upload the creative assets for their campaign.
Note: the user is not allowed to continue without uploading assets.
Once you are satisfied with your selections, click the continue button at the bottom of the screen.

The next page is the campaign budget
Start and End
Choose the start and end time of your campaign.
Total Campaign Budget
Enter the total budget here.
Retargeting
Eligible CTV viewers can be retargeted on desktop and mobile. Retargeting is optional but recommended.
Pacing
Choosing the pacing allows the user to change how their budget is dispersed.
Pace Evenly: Spread your budget evenly across the campaign.
Pace Evenly with Carryover: Unspent budget rolls over to following days.
As Fast as Possible: Spend your budget quickly; the campaign may end sooner
Note: Slower pacing stretches your campaign across more days, while faster pacing increases daily spend but may end the campaign early.
Advanced Options
Here are advanced optimization strategies for your campaign.
REACH - Show your ad to as many unique people as possible
BRAND - Build awareness by showing ads to the same audience more than once
CLICKS - Optimize for viewers coming from high-performing websites
VID_COMP - Optimize for viewers who watch your entire video
VID_VIEWS - Optimize for viewers who watched at least 75% of your video
FOOT - Drive people to visit your physical store
WEB_LEADS - Drive people to visit your website
BlockCONNECT Tracking (optional)
You may If your campaign has previously created a BlockConnect tracking pixel, you can assign it to your current campaign here.
Note: If you do not see this option, it only means you have not created a tracking pixel in the BlockVantage system yet, which is normal.
Once you are satisfied with your selections, click the continue button at the bottom of the screen.
Review Screen
Once all required selections are made, the user will be presented with a review screen to double check their selections and make any last minute changes before publishing their campaign.
After saving, the user will be prompted for a campaign name.
Note: After saving your campaign name, the campaign has yet to be published. Campaigns can only be published after linking a credit card.
